She, Deniva

It seems so long ago now, in my human
mind that is.

Deniva is no longer with the living
and definitely not with the undead. I
ensured that she would not have to
suffer the same fate that I was given.
Part of me mourns because of her
decision not to be with me for the
rest of my existence. Ultimately, I am
happy that she wanted to leave her
mortal life and not start an undead one.

You see, she helped me through an
exhausting part of my life. It seems
like a breeze through my hair now, when
I take the time to recall the events.
Again, you must realized a large factor
in my becoming a vampire has much to do
with what Deniva helped me through.
Complicated? No. Complicating? Yes.
But that is another story. As you were
told before, I was brought into a death
sentence, what I neglected to mention
was who, and why I was brought into
such an embrace.
